Has one eaten in a fast food restaurant lately? Aside from the eagerness to eat the greasy burger, did one happen to notice the color scheme of the place? Probably not, because that burger and fries combo meal was much more interesting. Well, the fact is, if one takes note of most restaurants is that they use a certain shade. Something bright, red, orange and yellow. Those colors may seem harsh to the eyes, but in all actuality, they serve those diners a purpose: they make a person eat more. Those colors enhance appetite. They make one feel hungrier than one is supposed to be.
Check the kitchen, the plates, the dining area –what may be the hindrance to one’s weight loss may be because of the colors around! For example, if anyone is on a crazy diet and exercise regime, but he or she wear those appetite-inducing colors every time they eat, they will unconsciously trigger the ‘eat plenty’ reflex. But considering that one is on a diet, one will deprave one’s person from eating more than what the body tells it to eat and therefore, feel exhausted and burnt out by the end of the day.
Keep things cool and refreshed by being color conscious. Choose calm or chilly colors like blue or green to keep those hunger bells from ringing. Those colors, especially the green, are known for being easy on the eyes, and they also suppress the urges to eat more. So if one has a cerulean plate when eating, the least likely will one is to get that second bigger portion of food. Be color conscious and stay clear of those reds and oranges whenever hungry. With the colors blue and green, one’s weight loss plan may be more than successful this time!
